Institute of Climate Studies presents the most current projections for ES

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published, on August 9, 2021, the Working Group I report to the Sixth Assessment Cycle (AR6 WG1), showing that climate change caused by human beings is irrefutable, irreversible and will worsen in the coming years and decades if nothing is done to change the picture of the climate and environmental crisis. On August 11, 2011, the Institute of Climate Studies of Espírito Santo presented the Webinar: Climate Change Projections for Espírito Santo, with a lecture by Prof. Wagner R. Soares. During the lecture, climate observations and projections were evaluated, as well as the impacts of extreme weather events observed and projected for the state of Espírito Santo from different climate change scenarios.
